Default email notification

Am I the only one who gets no notification of new posts.
I think that I have added more manuals etc in the documentation thread than anyone else,
I have more to add but cannot with the forum being in such a mess that one cannot easily modify threads.

3) I have had at least three posts stating the Ozark GTG was unhealthy. The last post was deleted when the GTG was delayed a month.
I mentioned that Big Brother was censoring the forum, all this is happening in the land of the free.

4) I think that I have added more manuals etc in the documentation thread than anyone else, I have more to add but cannot with the forum being in such a mess that one cannot easily modify threads. Frankly I do not think that I will add them as I seem to be on a mods hate list.
This is the thanks I get?
1) The notification function is not all that great. If you turn it on, it's "forum wide".
Go to "User CP" (upper left of any page here).
Click "Edit Options"
Go down to here and use the drop down box for the setting you want:

Problem is, if you post to a lot of threads, you will get SICK of all the emails. And some threads, eventually, you will not want to hear about and others you will - I find no way to stop notifications I dont want and yet get those I do want.

2) No, some of mine get deleted too. Other times, I delete my own posts on request of a thread author or other member.

You might try the "subscribe" button at the bottom of the page of the thread in question - that is a new option I have not tried.
Maybe we can subscribe to ONE thread at a time (so we don't get alerts from threads we don't want to hear about.)

This is how I believe you can set email notifications for a specific thread

That makes sense, cause my way, it turns it on "globally" which is kinda stupid.

Rereading my post I see that I have not said what I meant.
Previously when you started a thread or added a comment to an existing thread you would get an email saying that someone had added a reply.
This does not happen now.

The size tag fix should be released next week.

Check your userCP/options page, have you perhaps turned off the automatic notifications? Notifications are definitely working, as I received one about this thread.

cheers,
robb

Thanks for the reply, automatic notifications is ticked on my iPad and PC and no emails are forthcoming. So it does not appear to be a system problem.
Is there something else that would override the setting. I used to get many notifications a day and instantly if I was online with the forum.
This forum used to work seamlessly before and now problems are growing since changes were made.

What do you see if you go to this page? Can you share a screenshot of it?

I see exactly that same screen showing subscribed threads, 249 pages with a new thread at the top.
Forget about it, no big deal.
Thanks anyway.
