Default Wheel Spacers

I did a search and got mixed results.

What brand of wheel spacers are preferred by most and what website is the best to order from?

I am going to do the rear only, 10mm, and I'd prefer if the kit I am going to buy comes with the longer bolts too. Any help would be appreciated.

spacer info:

h&r trak+ (hub centric) spacers...part # 2455665 (10mm). the lug bolts are 1/2" longer than stock and are supplied through h&r as well.

i ordered mine through: tcklineracing.com or 614.771.7744 (ask for pete). they are located in ohio.

Andrew,

Could you provide some insight into the pros and cons of spacers? I am interested in this mod, but want to make an informed decision. Thanks.

Kevin

I have 15mm on the front and 20mm on the rear. Unless you are lowered any thinner is a waste of $$$$. IMHO.

no real cons... if they are hub centric.

pros... fill out the wheel wells by pushing the rim outward toward the wheel well lip. a wider stance may allow the car to handle slightly better.

i would stick with h&r trak spacers.

If you are using a 10mm hub centric spacer look out for the step! Make sure the step in the spacer dose not interfere with the hub of the car! I tried some hub centric spacers made in china & they were about 2mm from being flush on the car. I am just glad I test fitted them first rather than just tossing them on! Also test fit your lug bolts in the rear. If they go in too long they will tear up the e-brakes.

Lonnie,

Thanks for the caveat. I am seriously considering the spacers.
