Default Mandrus Wheels

My xfire is still down with two bent wheels - and I am torn between going back stock or changing wheels.

Came across the "Mandrus" wheels at Discount Tire. Site says they are made "exclusively" for Mercedes Benz, yada yada. Only have three styles but I was partial to their Regenmeister wheel.

Question: Anyone tried these things? what was the quality like? Where are they made? From the price, I am guessing China.

Wheels I really want are at Tire Rack - The O.Z. Superleggera III 3 piece modular. Love the wheels, not the price. Anyone seen a xfire with those OZ's?

Keep the pictures coming to give me more ideas.

Henry

this is why i run 18" front and back... 18x8.5 on 235/40/18 front tires and 18x9.5 on 275/40/18 back tires... i have extra meat in the sidewall all around now and little to no chance to damage the front, and really none to damage the back..

i need to take some better pictures and drop it a inch but here is a pictures of the back wheel before i washed it to give you an idea of the design, ADR M-Sport:

Thanks for the pic of your wheels. I like the design of your ADR's - especially the lip. The spoke design is similar to the OZ wheels. Your 18 F/R has some merit, especially in the wider availability of tires. But my 18" stock front rim got bent along with the 19" rear one did, so the extra sidewall did not help totally in this particular instance, but since the front held air and the back did not, I guess it was better.

Where did you get your ADR's? One reason I wanted to stick with the stock sizes was my tires only have 7k on them and look like new.

any ADR dealer can get them but if you want a really good price, snipe them on ebay ... that's what i did ... the rear will need a spacer to make it look correct ...
