Finally Lowered my Car
Well, I called to see if I had any chance of getting my spacers by Friday, but no luck. I will probably get them Monday or Tuesday next week.
I was hoping to have them on for our Chicago-Land GTG this Sunday.

So, maybe Andrew can tell us, is there an adverse affect on the tire wear after lowering? I know Andrew had this set up for a while... If tire wear problems are not a big issue, I'm doing this next. Of course, if Camber becomes a problem, so will traction, as the tires won't be making consistent contact pressure accross the tread...
i think its amazing how this kit doesnt affect ride quality at all. most kits you see peoples cars bounce off every minor imperfection in the road. its really unchanged from factory.

the ride is truly near factory... just less roll... and great looking ascetics.
Looks great FP. I'd consider doing the same but as you get older (I'm not even suggesting that you are).
It gets harder to get in and out of your car. If mine were any lower I'd have to roll out sideways onto the ground and crawl over to the nearest vertcal object and pull myself up.
Anybody know where I could find a good 10" riser kit for a Crossfire?
Is that spacer you guy's are talking about something that I could stap onto my *** so I could sit higher in a lowered Crossfire?

Gary - you know me always looking for something to improve the looks. OK since Andrew confirms that tire wear won't be an issue can someone point me in the direction of best place to purchase these and what sizes work best.

Only put the airbag under the seat!
looks good FP...that is also on my to do list...and I am glad Andrew chimed in...cause I was worried about the alignment as well, even though I have access to a rack...there isn't any adjustment available without modification...

Isn't that the ugliest thing you've ever seen?
It was in a thread some time ago by a fella' that needed lumbar support. I guess it worked, but OMG!
I saw a episode of Ridin' the Low Life (!) and watched some old geezer do absolute MAGIC to make a custom seat for just that problem. Just carefully shaved foam glued to the original foam. Looked great and the customer was really happy.
I spoke to a local uphlosterer and he said it would cost me $100 all in to have it done. 2 days though...my back sure would be happy!
