the car should drop immediately.... it may settle a little more over the next few days/week.....

make sure the springs are seated in the recesses and in the spring pads on top....if both ends were not in the seats that could make a fair difference.....

I recall one other person having a problem with front not going down after install but cant remember who and what the solution was.....

Sounds like the springs are in the wrong position in the pads not seated the car should go down as soon as the weight is put on the springs ..they will not settle any more if this is the case.

What spring pads did you use? With dot 5 in front you only drop 1/2 inch in the front. The pro kit drops the rear more then the front but which pad makes a lot of difference.

On Miatas the rotational torque on the bushings can prevent complete lowering and must not be tightened until the suspension is loaded.

stock pads would be a 1 or 2 dot. when installing lowering springs the fronts are usually a 3 to 5 dot pad are used as that fine tunes the drop. its only 4 mm per dot. you have another issue unless they added pads on top of the stock pads

if the shop used the proper tools to remove and reinstall the springs no bushings are disturbed. on the sway bar bolts shock bolts are removed during the swap. 20 min job

They should not charge you anything more if they incorrectly installed the pads . Besides if they have the right tools (spring commpressor.) should go quick.

The stock pads are fine and won't cause your issue. I had too much drop with the stock pads.

My car came with dot 5 pads OEM, so I think they used everything and only 1 way to know, take it out and look, or feel the 'bumps' on the rubber stop while it is in place.

The other thing to consider, is if your front springs were broken (both of my front springs had nearly a coil broken off them) that you will not see that big of a drop. Just a possibility. Also, if you are redoing it, I would make sure to cut the bump stops on the shocks so you dont bottom them out...

i bought the eibach pro kit and mine has the front lowered 1.10 inch. and the rear: 1.30 inch. ... my question is that , will it make a difference in the looks of flush or not or the look of a lowered car in that matter ?

I am using only the rear Eibach Pro springs on my 6 with dot4's the fronts are the stock srt springs with 1 full round taken out. with the koni's ' and my car sits pretty low. both front and rear tires are under the fenders no gap. it ...i can tell you it is possible to get a ride just as good or better than stock but you have to get the rear sway bar to a neutral position and the camber correct to make it happen with a lot of tweaking .but when you get it there these cars become a totally different handling beast and worth every penny spent . every car setup is going to be a little different but the outcome should be the same ,a great handling ride... I love the rush of driving when the car is really hanging in the turns and you can feel the horrizonal G's ...mucho fun. Yes I;m bragging on my 6.....
Howard.
