Default SRT springs on N/A?

Sorry if this has been answered already, but I couldn't find it using the search function.

I'd like to lower my car slightly...1" front, 1.5" rear approx - like the Eibachs....without adversely affecting the load bearing as I do often have to carry some weight in the back. A slightly stiffer ride isn't a problem, maybe even preferred.
Will SRT springs lower my N/A coupe without cutting them, and if so, how much?
Thanks!

I think about one inch front and rear. I have stock SRT6 springs, and one set that had one coil removed for autocross. Those are about a two inch drop.

-Yes
- ~¾" Depending if you want to change the spring pads also. which also depends on what your car has installed already. My NON SRT6 has srt6 springs installed. Not cut just installed and yes it did lower it and a firmer ride.

Doesn't your car have a heavier engine?

Sounds like SRT springs might be a option for me - .75" to an inch in front is great & the rear I may be able to adjust with thinner pads, or cutting 1/2 a coil.
I'd assume the stiffer springs would at least maintain load bearing if not even make it better?

Any comments on overall ride quality?

Yea it has a heavier engine. I had springs with the stock engine and had to change the pads with the new one to maintain the ~¾" drop.

Thanks.
How much will they lower the car? I'm looking to lower the back a little more than the front - aren't the SLK springs same drop front & back?

I never knew the SRT's were lower than the NA cars. Hmmmm learn something new on this forum all the time.
Buck I don't know if it's important to ya or not, but acccording to Road & Track Magazine test results, the NA cars go thru the slalom just a fraction of sec. faster than the SRT's.
I guess the SRT's just do it lower to the ground.

After checking a couple different Magazine Test Statistics of both the NA Crossfire, and the SRT's, here's what I found.

10/03 Road & Track -Ground Clearance.... NA Crossfire Coupe 4.9"----Hight. 51.4"

8/04 Car & Driver-Ground Clearance......SRT6 Crossfire Coupe 4.9"----Hight. 51.5"

Since both cars have the same ground clearance, I'm going to assume the SRT's greater hight comes from its owners inflated ego.
Or the NA drivers deflated one.

I am on cut SRT springs and while it handles great, my GF often complains about the ride, it is pretty harsh.

This is great, and I agree. I put the SRT springs in mine and it actually raised the car a touch, then I realized about a quarter coil was broken off my NA spring in that corner. I ended up cutting a coil and got roughly a 2" drop, looks great.

Read all you want but I did change my springs and the car lowered... You are more than welcome to install my NA springs back in the car to try and prove me wrong...
