Default New Wheels

I am looking for new wheels for my Xfire. The dimensions for the wheels are 18x10" and 19x13". Are these the dimensions I look for when looking for wheels. The guy at CustomWheels said those dimensions sound verrrrrry big. He says they should be 18x8" and 19x8.5".
Thanks
Hank

Thanks, that is what Danny from streetdreams.org said, too....but check this link out at Chrysler. I just want to know why Chrysler gives this size.

They very well may be 10 and 13. I'm not positive. But I couldn't see the Chrysler website being incorrect. My old car has 8.5 rears and ours could easily be another 50% wider.

Our rear tires are definately as wide as some I've seen on Porsches and other high end sports cars, so 13 and 10 isn't as crazy as it sounds.

I also think they are a little wider than we actually need for only 215 hp which is another reason it sounds too high.

Fronts are 18x7.5 and the backs are 19x9. That website is wrong.

The website also says there are no roofs or seats available. I'm pretty sure mine has both. I don't think I'd trust the info very much.

depending on the offset you could go with a width wider than the factory size but 10 and 13 will push you out past the body panels, the width can only go so far inward due to the obvious ie suspension, i went with 19 by8 in the front and 20 by 9 in therear, you could get a little wider if you order 3piece wheels wich are generally built toyour specs concerning offsets and what have you. you are also lokking at a lot of money for three piece wheels, approx., 4500 and up for the wheels alone

I know this post is wayy far from the first post. I apologize for that. I have gone to the link and perhaps the info. has been altered or updated.
As for roof : xfire roadster has choice of roof up or roof down, unlike xfire coupe that has standard roof.
As for seat : different series of xfire, roadster or coupe, has different material for their seat, that comes with different pricing.
That much I know
As for me, I am still having the factory wheels of front, 18 x 7.5" and rear, 19 x 9.0" which lead me to my question, next.
