Default Rims Vinyl Wrap ?

Hi,

I have an Aero blue SRT-6, and I do really like the blue color with black rims

I am thinking about making my rims vinyl wrapped. I have googled about and i wonder if someone here have done it to his car

I am mostly worried about the resistance and how long it can last without peeling

Thanks guys !

Save some time and a headache and get the sprayed or powdered.

Ever painted something with Plasti-Dip? It's actually pretty easy and does'nt cost much, you can peel it off when your tired of it... I do construction and, drive a 2500HD I painted mine a year ago and they still look the same.. They have many colors to choose from, Blue,Red,Green,Black..Etc My buddy just did his wifes Fiat, Rims Lime green.. Im not a fan of the Lime Green on his color car.

Hey TommyT >

I have thought about the painting option, the only difference is that its harder to reverse to original color than a Vinyl Wrap..

Watching the plasti dip videos, I think I'm going to try the gold spray on the wheels, door handles, strakes, and windshield bezel. I think it would look great on the black roadster. Oh, and pull the letters off the trunk lid, make them the same, and put them in the third brake light

Agreed, but just to try it out, plastidip seems to be the way to go.
