Re: 66.5 hub wheel spacers will not fit flush!
Yeah... now that I have had a chance to think on it I am pretty sure the shiny ring will come off and my spacers will fit perfectly. Since I am only using the 20mm on the rears and not messing with the fronts then when my 50mm con lugs come in I will be good to go. thanks. I will report back to my findings later this week. GG in Tn OUT

Hopefully it is on there and held by rust and will pop right off. Its not like the Bremmer Kraft rims need them so who knows why it was left on the car. The things you find in a used car is crazy. As soon as my con seat 50mm lug bolts show I will get it figured out and post results.
Re: 66.5 hub wheel spacers will not fit flush!
Figured it out . .It has been bugging me all day so I got a break from the rain, jacked the car up, removed the passenger side wheel. Tried to get it off but had to take the caliper off and the screw that holds the disc on, wiggle the disc to get some space behind it so I could chisel it off. Then when i was checking the inside of the wheel I found a 2nd ring crammed inside the rim. Crazy stuff people do, NO Wonder the wheel did not feel right at speed! Got the rings off the hubs, wired bushed rim and hub and install my perfect fitting 20mm spacers with new lug bolts .(ball seat). These aftermarket rims take conical so I have a 10 50mm shank bolts coming so I will be set. I started to double stack the spacers and have 40mm but it stuck out to much for my liking. Would of been fun for a day or so. I do notice the camber looks out now but that is another day. I will double check to see if the rings are needed in the rims when I install them later this week. I knew we would figure it out. Thanks again for the help. I really like the way the 20mm spacers look. Now I got to figure out what size spring pad I have so I can get the *** end of the car down. I am thinking of going to the 5mm spring pad and maybe cut a half a coil. I will cut the snubber down a inch or so to. I cut a full coil out on all 4 corners on my Mark VIII after doing the shock and spring conversion and it was on RAILS!

How funny, I had my wife snap those wonderful pics. Well now that we know that the adaptors DO fit our cars I have an extra set of spacers with ball seat lug bolts for sale since I am only using these on the rear of the car. I feel llike the 20mm are perfect for my setup, I am running aftermarket rims but stock size General G-Max tires. I have not tired these on the fronts because I was reading you might have to get them machined for the dust cap but for 40 bucks shipped they are a heck of a deal if anyone wants them.I might check them out on the fronts just to see if they fit ok and then list them in the For sale area. Thanks
Re: 66.5 hub wheel spacers will not fit flush!
That is correct, what I found is that the rims that I have must have a bigger bore so the rings are needed on my rims. I also found out that the spacers I have will fit the fronts and rears perfectly so that is good to know. I will be selling a few sets of 20mm spacers with the correct ball seat lug bolts that are used with the OEM rims. I just put them on the front of my car but will most likely go with 10mm if I use any on the front.
