so what your saying is the oem bushing have the center steel sleeve centered in the rubber bushing. I ordered bushings for the front lower rearward location slk320 and they out of the box are offset. Wrong ones???? The bushing in the car are bad. Don't know how those are set up.

Ummm, please re-read my post. I believe you missed "doesn't" (it means does not). LOL! I have misread before and most of the time I correct it in my rereads before hitting 'send'.
