Antilock Brake Controller issues with 5 volt circuit
I am having issues with my A 193 545 05 32 Antilock Brake controller. This unit is sending 12 volts to the Yaw sensor on the CAN network.
I understand that if I replace this controller with another unit from a donor car, I need to have the VIN tied to the ABS. Does this require a dealer to program the change?
As an option, has anyone found a rebuilder that can fix this unit?
Thanks,

There is no programming required. Simply remove control unit and replace with another from same model type. The 2007 and 2008 units should be replaced from a donor of the same year just to be on the safe side. Those model years are a bit different than the earlier years.
I may be wrong on that, perhaps all years are interchangeable I’m just not certain, but regardless no programming is required.
