Has anyone experienced alignment issues with the Pro-Kit?

Not that I am aware of. The drop is minimal 1.2" +/-. Once aligned, you should have a minor amount of neg. camber, but nothing to speed the wear of your tires noticeably.

I plan on getting myself an Eibach spring kit for the holidays.
Should I let the springs settle for a week or two to settle before taking it for alignment?
How far out of spec did the kit put you?
Thanks.

I can't answer that as the OEM alignment #'s were not done before I changed the springs and shocks... So, a baseline was never logged... I would let the car settle for at least a week, or more... You'll notice a 50% drop at first then the rest after a few weeks...

If I were to do it again, I would shave the rear spring pads to 50% of their original thickness while you have the springs out... Leave the fronts as is...

ANDREW, do you have any suggestions?

The H&R cup kit seemed to be a little too low for me! It constantly rubs on the front bumper, wheel well and side fenders whenever I run over a dip or climb up a hill.

But the alignment definitely needs to be adjusted If I was to lower the car?

Not Andrew, but there was another thread that referenced the spring pads...apparently there are a variety of thicknesses, so if you have one of the thicker ones, you could swap it out for the thinner ones. Here they are:

Front:
A 210 321 01 84 (5mm)
A 210 321 02 84 (9mm)
A 210 321 03 84 (13mm)
A 210 321 04 84 (17mm)
A 210 321 05 84 (21mm)

Rear:
A 210 325 01 84 (5mm)
A 210 325 02 84 (9mm)
A 210 325 03 84 (13mm)
A 210 325 04 84 (17mm)

Brent,
You will definitely have to do an alignment. lowering the center of the wheel in the wheel well by modifying the suspension changes the toe, caster, and camber of the wheel alignment. When I lowered my VW's and MB's in the past, I drove at least 2K KM's (1,200 - 1,500 miles).

G/L as this is one of my future mods as well.

Did you find these through Chrysler parts or through MB parts... Because, I called Chrysler parts about 6 months ago and they do not list any different sizes at all...

after having my springs install... i had my alignment checked about a week after install. the cars alignment was still at normal specs... a set-up fee/inspection charge of $29.95 applied (a very highly reputable alignment shop). so no alignment needed for my car.

as for the spring pads... every crossfire seems to end up with a slightly different ride height. you really need to install the springs and readdress the issue of stance.

my car had one of the first eibach sets on it. it is slammed by comparison of today's available eibach pro-kit set. i truly think eibach revised the kit and raised the lowering height. my car dropped at least 2 inches. i would like to raise the rear (a tad) with a change of spring pad. but i haven't had the time to bother with it.

i have had this set-up for 20,000 and have no irregular tire wear at all...even across the board.

i am very happy with the changes. i also added koni adjustable shocks to complete the suspension. however the shocks are not required...i just like a crisp rebound.

hope this helps!

See, aren't we full of useful information... I'm actually thinking of changing my Eibach / Koni combo to the KW coilovers which weren't available a year ago... That way I can adjust the corner loading for the track...

If I do, it will be in March and I will put the current set-up for sale at discount... If you want to wait...

Sorry, MB Parts...Chrysler seems to be at a loss for everything with this car, so nothing surprises me. I would be interested in your setup, but am a little concerned about how much wear they already have...I have seen your videos.

I thought those were MB parts... That's where I found them too... We don't even want to get into the issues about Chrysler with regards to this car, it would take a week...

Yeah... You don't want my Koni's after last season... They'll need to be shipped back to the factory for re-sealing $75 if you wanted to race the car... The springs are fine, already settled in to the car weight...

Hey BTW... You should go to the HIN "Hot Import Nights" show in Hawaii... If you would like me to set you up with VIP passes let me know, It's in Honolulu on the 17th at 777 Ward Ave. Let me know ASAP so I can make a call... You'll love it... My business associates run the event...

Ok I didn't get springs for the holidays, darn.
So I just ordered a set of eibachs for myself!

Where is a good place to buy h&r wheel spacers 10mm and 12mm and longer wheel bolts?
I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for.
Thanks for any help.

I set up my wife's (GoodEnough) SRT with the Eibach kit and noticed that the rear was toed out. We set the toe inward a couple of degrees and it really helped the tracking. It does rub in the front though. Now I think it needs shocks and sway bars.
