What made you buy your Crossfire
I remember back in 05 I use to past a black SRT 6 coupe everday on my local Chrysler lot and I always liked them. I had gotten tire of my 06 Impreza (nice car) after 1yr.....so the search began. Audi TT,350Z,C6Vette(almost took the plunge on the Vette). Was on Carmax srolling different makes...came across Chrysler....went through models and bam!!! Ohhhh my damn...how did I forget about this beauty!! Was hooked on an Alabaster white with the Cedar interior..... So a couple days went by....back on Carmax but this time when I clicked on Chrysler I saw an additional Crossfire space....SRT6...clicked on it and there she sat pristine in California. I knew she was mine even without test driving her. 849$ and 2weeks later on a Sunday Fall evening(you know that time of day when the worst paint job looks great!!)I wasnt leaving that dealership without her.
Picked mine up used in May of this year. For the price and performance I could not pass up the deal. Have been very happy with it so far.
This also allowed me to the join the forum and meet some great people.

After reading all the magazine road tests, I was impressed by what they had to say about the handling, acceleration, and braking. I loved its taut deminsions, and the way it looked. After one test drive I was hooked, this is MY kind of car, and that was back in 1968.
Still feel the same way today.

The first one my local dealer had, he placed in his showroom and held an open house for all his new models...I went over and fell in love with the car. I kept looking at it and checking it out and my wife kept trying to pull me away as we could not really afford it at the time! The owner had taken the second one he received for himself, so he and I went for a test drive, even if he knew I could ot afford one right away! I was a good customer.....what can I say!
I told him that it was too bad that they did not make a convertible and he told me they were coming the following year.... I swore then, that I would own one someday!
I loved the car since then and always told my wife that one day I would buy a Crossfire... Last year, I finally decided that could afford to treat myself. I sold my 1974 Triumph Spitfire and finally bought a 2007 Crossfire convertible...and I haven't regretted it. I love the car still, it drives great, looks outstanding and I will still own it when it becomes a classic!

The exact same weak moment that I experience when I enter an audio store. I had my choice of seven just 1 hour before they left for the auction. It was a toss up between the red roadster and the gold limited. I took home the gold limited. I have no buyer remorse, and never will. It is a great car for the price.

Thanks Mike !
Now Brad, all I need to do is convince you to actually DRIVE it.
With a background in design, it was the design of the Crossfire that put it on my short list. After a lot of research (including this forum) and some test drives of the three cars on my list, I purchased a new 2008 Crossfire. $17,000 off the sticker price also helped!
So, how much did you actually pay for it??? $17,000 off what ???

since she had no idea what a crossfire even was, i went on ebay to show her pics. did a search with a 200 mile radius. found a '05 ldt roadster with all options (nav and conti - i know right), 26K miles and it was at $16K. i knew car max does not reduce pricing so i figured this one was worth $21-$22K. I threw a $18K bid out there and didn't even watch it. Auction closed Friday night. funny part: I woke up Sat. morning to see what it finally went for and to my suprise, it went for $17,200 and I happen to be the highest bidder. that was in dec. '07. the car was a lease thru chrysler finance and was in excellent shape. i never thought i'd buy anytihing off ebay for over $500 let alone over $17K.
Was having my Jeep serviced at the dealership and saw the crossfire in the show room, fell in love with it.
Two weeks later part exchanged the jeep for the XF.
