Default Need help with Ignition mod in Georgia

Hi Guys,
Much as I hate to ask for help on something I once could do my self, I am.
I am disabled because of recent lumbar spinal fusion surgery and not able to do the ignition mod on Lola. My key is getting harder and harder to turn. I even ordered and received a new ignition housing in the case it's needed. I will pay someone what ever they want and buy the lunch and beer of your choice (where is that beer assistant). Mark in cumming has graciously offered to help but his schedule is full now for the next couple of weeks or longer due to projects at is place of employment. I live in kennesaw Ga. I have a garage and tools. Or I can drive up to 1 hour away to your location. If you can possibly help I would be in your debt and very grateful. You can reach me at 770-516-2484 or 678-736-0163. Thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
I do not work so my schedule is open to work around yours. God bless and have a great day and holiday season.
Patrick.

I could do it for you tomorrow, however you'd have to drive a bit faster than normal on I20 to make it here in one hour ( 98 miles ).
All I have planned tomorrow is to finish up the detailing on Annie for the car show here Sunday.

Thanks for the generous offer but you are 2 hours away from me so that's 4 hours driving. Unfortunately sitting for more than 30 min or so at a time gets to be very uncomfortable on my back so 4 hours drive time in this car in one day is not possible. Thank you though.

Valid question. I plan on coming with a friend to share driving and according to my surgeon my condition in the next 5 months between now and then provided I do the therapy and lose weight should help a lot and make traveling these kind of distances much easier. Though I may still have to stop and get out to walk around a bit a few times.
I have already lost 13 pounds since October 5th.

Losing the weight will help and TIME since treatment helps as well.
If I get a saturday away from work, I can help you out.

I was here at work until after 7 last night, been here for an hour already.
Long days. Sure hope management notices.

You bet they will!

Your name will be at the top of the list for the next 12 hour day project!

I'm working "under" my second college educated (business management classes 2 nights a week.. ) project manager in 3years after being here 8 years..

"knows" Autocad and Solidworks..

Just decided I will put in my 8.. deal with her continuous drawing mistakes.. and call it a day.

Owner even acknowledged the one prior to this one was about half an idiot.. Just love how they have these "golden child" employees.. but when crap needs taken care of it's my name they are calling for..

Oh well ... pays the same fixing her junk.. or actually putting product in the shop..

Our problem is ONE worthless employee out of about 30 and the fact that we are understaffed.
The worthless one has the same title as I do, but does N O T H I N G and no one knows why management does nothing.

But, he stays outta my way so I'm fine.

Lee and his guys have been taking care of my XF and other cars for years. I'm in East Cobb, so it's just a stones throw for me, but Kennesaw to Roswell isn't bad.

And I feel your pain, my L4 L5 disk blew out last year. Epidural injections have helped so far.

But will they do a mod like this? I think I feel better waiting for Mark. That way I know it will be done right.
