Exclamation CD Button on Radio Not Working?

Hi, When I push the CD button the radio won't change from FM to CD. If I load a disk manually it reads it and switches to CD and everything is fine. Anyone have this problem before ?

Thanks

That is the way it works. Why would it switch to CD when there is no CD in there? What would you get if you dropped a needle onto a platter which had record on it? Damage.

Okay , maybe I wasn't clear. The CD function button doesn't work even if a cd is in the radio. Before I had this problem I could listen to a cd , switch to FM and then back to the CD. Now if I switch to FM and push the CD button it does not go back to the cd. I can eject the cd and put it back in and then it will switch to the cd player. Does that make sense?
