Default Can’t find a garage that works on the crossfire

Is it just me having the struggle of finding a garage that will work on the crossfire? Every garage I’ve called said they won’t touch it! Can anyone tell me or recommend a garage in Dorset or close to that will. Cheers

Find a garage that works on Mercedes cars. They should be able to help you since nearly everything mechanical about the car was built by Mercedes.

I'd add a can of SeaFoam TransTune, drive 100 miles, then change trans oil and a filter. Have essentially the same NAG1 trans in my '11 Grand Cherokee. Would find a transmission shop. Good idea to have a copy of your service manual with you and tell them you have.

1) The very idea that the auto trans is a "no service needed" item is so wrong, but taught by many. A transmission shop owner once told me, "If people would do a fluid service every 50,000 to 70,000 miles, they could almost put me out of business". (THat's 80,000 km). I would support that guy's assertion.

2) Not so sure about "slipping" or "rumble" but that damn conductor plate and electrical connector makes me happy I have a manual.

Try contacting the UK Crossfire Club. They have numerous events scheduled thru the year and I'm certain someone there can give you advice as to shops for repair work: UK Crossfires

STRANGELY, I was invited to their Facebook page yesterday. I have given them a link to this thread and asked for help as well.
