Default Tow hook switch

~ Not sure what would make the console switch with the tow hook on it illuminate constantly but that's what just started happening on the black SRT. I looked in the forum for a similar thread for the answer, but was unsuccessful.
~ Any ideas on what might be triggering the light? Rocking the switch did not seem to help. Thanks in advance.

Found this on a mercedes site.

Just solved the tow away problem this weekend.
Was a damp pse.
Took the pse out, removed cover, dried her off with a hairdryer for about 2 hours, cut the vac lines, added a foot to each, flipped upside down in trunk now.
Since I removed the cd changer I used one of the leftover screw holes for a brace to hold the pse is place.

No more tow away light and car is happy girl again =)

From reading what I quoted above I would go with :

Hunt for something wet in the trunk area and make it dry.
