SRT6 convert blank switch to on/off
I own a SRT6 and was wondering if anyone has converted their balnk switch on center console to an on/off switch to run interior lights? The blank switch I'm refering to is the spoiler switch on the NA's.
I purchased a second Alarm switch thinking it would work but it only sends power out when depressed it will not work as on/off toggle. Anybody have any ideas?

if you cant find the proper switch, here is a relay circuit that will latch and unlatch from a momentary switch (and unlatch when you turn the key off)

that circuit uses 4 (yes 4) standard SPDT relays .... available at kragens, etc ... cheaper online
example ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Volt-Rela...item1e6918070d
1n4001 would be a good number for the diodes

Yes I had talked to Rudy prior to starting thread, he had qouted me a price then got really busy, so I thought I might be able to try on my own. Rudy did say If I got some people together he would make up a few rather than just one.
So to everyone reading this if you would like to have a on/off switch to replace your "blank" where "wing sw" would be I'll start a list to give to Rudy.

I converted my blank to control my fog lights.
Gave me the ability to run the fog lights with high beams as well as allows them to default on anytime the headlights are on so I do not have to remember to pull out on the headlight switch....
It can be done with one small latching relay and one standard automotive relay.
The latching relay is essentially the item that will turn the momentary pulse to a constant signal. Unfortunately I could only find these in low current circuit board style so you must then take that latched signal to a full size automative relay to handle the current needed. Plenty of room in the dash for this though...
Many options exist for that latching relay, I chose a FRT3-SL2 Relay:
http://www.led-switch.com/Relays.htm
http://www.khalus.com.ua/data/chips/chameleon-relay/pdf/frt/frt3.pdf

Now if Rudy puts something together it would be a LOT cleaner and simpler I am sure, but this will work JUST FINE if you have the time to make it happen.
Here is my original thread with more info of exactly what I did. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...rks-fixed.html

OK I could not wait for switch to made so I, did the american thing and Improvised.
I bought 3 switches from web Site
Round Rocker Switch - 12V LED - Prewired in Blue, Red, Green, White, Amber, Pink
I Tapped into hot wire from hazard switch put inline fuse and mounted switch inside center console box, attached is a picture of finished product.
