Jack, that's a great idea. No, once I designed it for my phone I posted the model thinking anyone could modify it for their purpose.

I got the ones my friend printed today
My Ihone15 has a case around it and it fits perfectly in the 3D printed phone mount.
I will need to get a charger that is a little longer to plug into my lighter and through the bracket though.

Good news that it fits! There should be a charger plug out there somewhere that will work. Mine was a radar detector plug. You could go to the local thrift store and see if they have a box of chargers. You might get lucky. Looking on Amazon there are a few that might work but they don’t give dimensions so you could end up returning a few.

I found the perfect charger to work with this new 3D printed phone holder
I got the charger on
<u>Amazon</u> Amazon

Here are a few pics of the set up.
Thanks to member Americium for creating this thread with 3D file info to print this 3D phone holder
My friend modified the 3D print file to make my mount fit my Iphone15

It looks great! I’m glad it worked out for you. Did you put rubber feet on the back to stabilize it? I found that it helped keep it from moving when you had to make inputs on the screen.

enjoy!

I will put a few rubber feet on the back to stabilize it.
It will likely only be used when I also have my Garmin GPS in the car
For now I use this other phone holder I recently bought (shown here in post #147)
