Re: Black Max SRT6 Coupe RETURNS!
Post nuclear apocalypse there will be roaches and Black Max and that's it. Just those two things left on the planet. And the only reason the roaches survived was because they were in the floorboard of ole' Black Max. It's going to outlive all of us!

Besides the black coated wheels, are we sure this is the infamous 'Black Max'?

Re: Black Max SRT6 Coupe RETURNS!
As I recall the Black Max car was actually black, was actually an SRT and had parts swapped on it with a NA before it was repo’d.
It all started some six or seven years ago.

Re: Black Max SRT6 Coupe RETURNS!
I have confirmed by VIN that it's the same car.
Car listed by OP has a link to the ad. Click on it and at the bottom is a link to NHTSA safety recalls. When you click on the link the same vin comes up on NHTSA and it's also listed in the link itself. https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?vin=1C3AN79NX5X036259

Re: Black Max SRT6 Coupe RETURNS!
Guys
Scroll to the bottom of this thread, there are threads dating back to 2010 about this SRT6. The original owner swapped parts of this SRT6 with another owner that had a base model. Among the parts swapped included the wheels, front bumper, brakes, spoiler, seats and a few other pieces before it was repossessed by the bank that held the title. When the car was repossessed , it had the black front bumper from the base swap, it was painted graphite at a later date.
This was a graphite color SRT6 from the factory as indicated in the VIN Database.
Here's another thread dating back to 2009

Re: Black Max SRT6 Coupe RETURNS!
It is a SRT6, just has some different parts that make it a bastard. Will still smoke every NA Crossfire on the planet FYIW. Could potentially be a nice sleeper without SRT badging and a small 100 shot of nitrous.

Re: Black Max SRT6 Coupe RETURNS!
I am reminded of the doctor's wife who was selling a Cutlass Convertible and insisted it was a "Special SRS Edition" because the dash was so embossed. She refused to accept that stood for Supplemental Restraint System which indicated there was an air bag.
I spend an interesting day reading up on this car. Most questions are answered in the many threads. I would suggest investing some time reading prior to making guesses which could mislead others. Lots of good solid information provided by knowlegable people.

My point being it didn't look like one. No front spoiler and no fixed rear wing.
I have been corrected, but it sure doesn't look like an SRT6

Re: Black Max SRT6 Coupe RETURNS!
My concern is more general and sincere.
