It's possible with your car since it's an Auto, just be sure to find an installer who's installed one on a Benz. My installer can do one on mine but there's limitations on a manual tranny with remote starts

I personally like the Viper 2-Way security (going to get one soon) that lets you know when your alarms been activated

Yes , the VIPER (HORNET) two way is the best with all sorts of possible set ups. This is the starter and alarm combo. For a little more I also had my guy install an interior alarm ,(for convertibles).
This way , if someone opens their door to wide or steps too close to the car they get and audible nudge to move away. Of course you have to turn this off in some cases or try to park in a secluded spot. (If you can see the console it will go off)
I think my whole deal was about 350 or 400, but not sure. The system was also removed from my totaled crossfire and moved into the new one.
It is a must that they know MB wiring.

I have been looking at the Clifford 50.5X and the Autopage RS-900. It bothers me that the Clifford/Viper does not have a real coded valet switch. I was wondering if anyone can comment on the quality of Autopage systems.

You CAN'T use a remote start on this car unless you have the transmitter fob near the ignition, It might run but only for about 30 seconds without the transmitter signal.

The bypass module should take care of the transponder problem. They have new modules that can be programmed without the key and can be flashed for a specific car.

One of the pleasures I get from this forum is that everyone is an expert on everything. Since remote starters don't work on these cars , now I have a new problem, mine works and always has. Maybe my guy can make it not work ,like it is not suppose to.

lol....yeah not sure why someone can discredit a person who admits they have one and it works, but whatever

There's only limitations on manual cars. Remote start for Autos will work
