Default reached 50,000 miles today

Oil changes $650,-
New Tires $1.400,-
Gas $5.000,-
Mods $800,-
Repairs $0,-

Having a driver of a Lamboghini turning his head to look at my car... having a driver in a corvette giving me the thumbs up... seeing their angry, jelous faces in those Nissan 350Z... people still (after almost 6 years) coming to my car looking and asking questions about it... being the "cool" dad when picking up my daughter from school... having 28.95 miles of pure joy each day with a big grin in my face... meeting new friends at GTGs.... PRICELESS!

Being on the motor speedway with 14 other crossfires going 100 and above...

Only 650 dollars in oil changes? Everytime I get it done it costs me 120. With 50K miles I would think you would have done more changes.

By the way, congrats! I am almost at 54K and I had the car 4 years. I drive it everyday. I have yet to meet someone that doesn't like my car (other than my fiance because she feels cramped inside... but that is her problem

I'm doing oil changes anytime the onboard computer tells me to. The longest between changes was a little over 8000 miles, the shortest around 6000 miles. The past few changes cost me $85,- (incl. tax) at Jiffy Lube in Bloomington, IL. And yes, they are using the right oil and right amount. I always get a chuckle when they apologize how expensive this oil change is because of the amount of oil it uses . And I get the car vaccumed, all fluids checked and refilled. Service does still exist - rare, but it does

Zero repairs, that's the bomb!
Both the Coupe (61K) & the SRT (54K) STILL have not had one darn thing go bad that needed a repair.
Phenomenal cars.

Never never ever say that, you are asking for trouble. Told a buddy oneday that I had never had an accident in my car, next day guess what, pulled it out of the body shop on a Friday and Saturday someone hit it again on the same spot.

All the Jiffy Lube locations I went to said they didn't have the right oil. Gave me that confused look when I said "zero weight". When a place that only does oil changes gives me a look like that, it is a sign not to let them touch my car. I would rather spend the extra 20 dollars and go to a dealership. If they break it.... I will just call up Chrysler and complain.... then have them fix it or replace the car. Good luck getting Jiffy Lube to fix your car or replace it if they break it I used to have my Camaro serviced at a place like Jiffy Lube... but not the Crossfire.

You could not be more right 180. I said almost this same thing last time I was down in Florida visiting my folks. I said, "I haven't gotten a ticket in 6 years, hell, I haven't even been pulled over in 6 years."

Later that day, driving my folks XF roadster down to MIA to see a buddy and a plane radared me and I got a ticket 10 miles later by a state cop who told me they used planes to catch speeders, bull$hit

47K on the odometer.
oil changes $0
3.25 sets of tires $4750.
Mods $1400.
Repairs $200 (wiper blades, lights and such)

All of it good. I'll make it to 6 years this year also but just barely.

Dealer was passing out 'Lifetime Free" oil change cards with any new car purchase. It was supposed to be the loss leader that got everyone to come back for service. He stopped doing that once he found out about the synthetic oil. I was told that I was the last Crossfire to get one. Dealership changed hands. The new guy came in and said he would honor these cards. Was PO'd to find out that I had one but he did honor it. The free oil change is cool but the look of consternation that I get from the service writer every time I present the card is priceless. It also gets a lot of laughs from the mechanics when they hear the story.
