Mine may see some cold and occasional rain, but never snow. I had a 74 TR6 rot out from under me after 7-8 years of winter driving and I intend to keep the Crossies for a long time. I have a high mileage, high performance A6 quattro as a winter beater. Winter in MI is OOOO weather, dudes.

My 05 roadster is a daily driver, while VA winters aren't in the league of New England or Chicago last yar was pretty rough. Can't really comment , I still run summer tires and they WON'T do snow. Can't imagine that this is a good overall car in the snow even with Snow Tires, now give me studded tires and I'll drive thru anything.
USe and Audi A6 wagon when things get too dicy

It's a lot like the ice storms you get down there, but not as slippery.

No way driving much in the snow here in Montana. Too many rocks used in the gravel, too many crazy drivers. Nope got a awd car for that. Sorry but she sits in the shop all toasty and warm until spring.

Found it kind of funny, when I picked up mine a few weeks ago the guy I was buying it from looked a bit upset when he found out the car he had babied for 5 years was going to become my work vehicle to take me all over the SouthEast , year round, rain or shine (not likely much snow, but you never know!)!

oh well, cars are built to be driven and I plan to drive the heck out of this one!

If he was upset he shouldn't of sold the car. I sold my old car to a friend of my uncle and I babied the crap out of that car and when I sold it I told him and my uncle that I wanted to know nothing about the car. What you don't know can't hurt!
