Auxiliary Input
Auxiliary Input
I just bought myself a Crossfire a week ago and I noticed there was no Aux input on the stock radio. I want to plug in my ipad to the radio with an Aux cable, not FM modulator/transmitter. Any ideas on how I can do this? I know I could purchase a cheap radio with an Aux port, but it's hard to find one that will blend with the interior and I don't want to mess up how it looks now.

Re: Auxiliary Input
Buy a blaupunkt radio with the silver faceplate. That is what I did. The silver matches our interior. Their radios are plug and play. Slide the factory radio out. Plug the new radio in and slide the new radio in. A 5 min job. Do a search on this forum and you will see how easy and how nice the radio blends with our interior.

The Alpines pickup regular radio.....
Re: Auxiliary Input
Yes they do have am and fm. You just need an antennae adaptor. It is a short cord that goes between your radio and the factory wire. It plugs right in. I ordered my radio from crutch field and it was included along with the special key to pull the factory radio out.
