Default Auxiliary Input

I just bought myself a Crossfire a week ago and I noticed there was no Aux input on the stock radio. I want to plug in my ipad to the radio with an Aux cable, not FM modulator/transmitter. Any ideas on how I can do this? I know I could purchase a cheap radio with an Aux port, but it's hard to find one that will blend with the interior and I don't want to mess up how it looks now.

Buy a blaupunkt radio with the silver faceplate. That is what I did. The silver matches our interior. Their radios are plug and play. Slide the factory radio out. Plug the new radio in and slide the new radio in. A 5 min job. Do a search on this forum and you will see how easy and how nice the radio blends with our interior.

I know this may sound stupid, but do those plug and play radios still play the regular AM and FM? I've done some looking at after market radios with mp3 ports, but none really say if they still do regular radio as well.

Yes they do have am and fm. You just need an antennae adaptor. It is a short cord that goes between your radio and the factory wire. It plugs right in. I ordered my radio from crutch field and it was included along with the special key to pull the factory radio out.

You will see that the aftermarket radios are usually listed as 'receivers', this means they have AM & FM
