I'll never understand some peoples need to answer someones question with shitty responses. If you can't help with the question, then don't. No need to bash them or their ideas. Constructive criticism, not bashing. I am sure that this will not help and puts the target on me, but Oh well. I can take it, lol. I found a kit online for cheap awhile back. Google lambo doors crossfire and some cheap ones come up. Good luck building your dream crossfire and let no one deter you from your vision of perfection
I saw where you contributed, but I also saw where you were a ****** and told her that they were ugly. I didnt see her ask you for your opinion on the look. I was just stating that she should do what she likes. Go back to bed puke.
The O.P. asked for "ANY" feedback on Lambo doors. She didn't specify she was interested in them because of medical reasons. People have opinions, and I thought they were allowed to express them on this forum. I didn't take Singerrons post as a bashing response, just his opinion on that particular mod.
There are several forum members who have Lambo doors on their cars. ICHON, Jediracer, and SRT SIX in California come to mind.
I believe SRT SIX installed his because he was having a difficult time getting in and out of his car due to a medical problem. I also think he mentioned a tight garage space had something to do with it as well.
ICHON's car is a show car, and a multiple car show winner, and the Lambo doors seem to Dazzle the car show crowds. The same goes for Jediracer's roadster, (another car show winner).
Chas tried to show me the correct way to close them, and after a couple of tries, I gave up, because it seemed as though they were "dragging" on the door sill, and I didn't want to scratch his beautiful car.
I could see how they could become a nuisance after awhile with frequent use.
But then, I can see how having to use a wheel chair ramp to get inside a van could be considered a nuisance as well. But if it keeps a person mobile, then it's a convenience.
