Cool Any Body Kits out there?

Hello.

I have had my Crossfire for almost a year now and very much enjoy it -- but I also enjoy modifying anything and really making it my own.

I've always been keen on body parts for cars but I've yet to find any REAL body kits that would significantly change the aesthetics of the vehicle. (aside from custom vented hoods and AMG styled side skirts)

I was wondering if maybe I've been looking in the wrong places or if this car is just not what carbon fiber creators went after to tinker with or create custom works.

Any links or pictures of body kits that I could go about purchasing would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

No, but you could see about trading yours for this one :

Its just not profitable for anyone to create them with such a limited market. They probably sell more 2015 Mustangs in a month than they did XFs in 4 years...

even if there were bodykits for our cars the price would be so insane that very few people on here would fork out the money for them let alone wait on a prepaid waiting list like most of the other group buys over the years on this forum then you run the risk of dealing with a company that is going to talk a bunch of BS about quality and time frames on the kits then scrap the project and take or hold forum members money so I would just enjoy the car for the beauty it already has...the curves of this car would be nightmare for a fiberglass kit anyway, urethane would be the way to go but expensive

I've had my 05 base for three years now and have not found anything but those AMG styled skirts. That doesn't mean you have to go without. The lack of aftermarket body panels offers us xf owners the opportunity to truly be creative and learn some fabrication skills. Urethane and fiberglass are both fairly easy mediums to work with and with a little help from YouTube and some imagination you can create your own custom bodywork.

The guy selling those AMG skirts was banned from here after taking money for a group buy and returning just some of it when the parts turned out to be a disaster. It was a sad tale, people with high hopes were conned, nobody involved came out smelling like a rose. Find the thread and read the sad tale.

You can't improve on perfection. But if you must, visit Pepboys for some slick seats and a fart-can exhaust.

Remember if you do not learn from the past the same mistakes will be repeated again.
AMG side skirts

You could write a book on this fiasco. Fraud, naivety, threats of violence, it had it all, it just lacked sex to make it into a best seller. People were screwed though.
People were so enthusiastic that they were throwing good money after bad even when the project went pear shaped.

^^^I actually started that entire project with my original photoshop. I still think the side skirts look good as hell too bad the guy was a crook.

To my knowledge my Startech front spoiler, rear spoiler, an chrome bits were the only official body stuff made for the car.

Haven't posted pics in a long while so photo bombing today LOL

I'll have some more pics once my custom grill is done.

The side skirts didn't fit, had open front, and cost a member a lot of money to finally get them mounted. And, yes, I would punch the crooked ******* right square in the mouth if I ever to get to meet him... I would swear he fell on my fist... Body panels, side skirts, spoilers all sounds nice, but Japanese seems to pop in head when I here this.... Although there have been some very nice mock ups, no one has ever really created anything to market....
