Weatherstrip: Left Door Belt Moulding
2004 Crossfire in bodyshop, needs new weatherstrip, Left, Door Belt Moulding, 05161453AA. Chrysler evidently no longer stocks, can't seem to find. Body shop wants to put car back together, not sure what they have salvaged from removal. It's hard to believe weatherstripping isn't available. One website gave me a Mercedes part #, but the dealer I called said it wasn't a good number. I would appreciate any help/ suggestions.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Hello,
Just searching for your part number I found a couple... They are pricey though, this one is $530ish with shipping:
#05161453AA: Chrysler. Door Window Belt Weather Strip
This one came out to just over $500:
Chrysler. #05161453AA: WEATHERSTRIP. Left. Door Belt Moulding. Outer.
Oh, $490. Maybe there are more out there that are a little cheaper. Good luck!
WEATHERSTRIP. Left. Door Belt Moulding. Outer made by Mopar. #05161453AA

Found one supposedly in stock in Italy for 152,23 Euros or roughly $175... No idea how much to ship, or the length of time - but tempting for the price.

Ryan did you ever find out is the SLK weatherstrip fits the Crossfire? I have an SLK Door belt and am wondering if it will fit the Chrysler Crossfire WEATHERSTRIP, Door Belt Moulding, Outer 05161452AA.
Thanks in advance for a reply.

He hasn't been on the forum for over 3 years. Other members have said the SLK 320 door belt fits fine.
MB Part # for right side is 1707200424 left is 1707200324 Yes it does it fit I'm in the process of looking for one or fixing mine. I did a lot of research on them so if your part# is that you are good to go.
I have basically given up adding new material to the forum and keep it on my files.
This can be found in the Sticky Index of Crossfire problems and repairs
