Need fix Steering locked and key locked in ignition
Note: When it's locked up.. you get to drill the pin out by the steering column.. when you get to the point your ready to work on it.. use computer duster (compressed air inverted) to see if it will let you get that much needed key turn on the switch.. seems "freezing" the assembly might save you from drilling.. "new theory" we need to confirm a couple times here...
I may be wrong. But I don't believe the sticky ignition is your problem. That usually involves not being able to turn the key to the on position. I've never heard of that problem locking your key in the ignition. I am assuming you can't turn the key in either direction, right?
Look and see if your wheels are turned all the way to the left or right. If they are then it might have put back pressure on the locking mechanism when you shut the car off.
So, try this before you go wild with a drill. start rocking your wheel forcefully in the direction the the wheels are turned while attempting to turn the key. You may have to to put some oomph into it. No harm in trying.

I thought about this after my post.. you can't take the key out in neutral.. so something along that "interface" must be messing up?
Key will turn to light up the panel lights, but will not turn to engage the starter motor.
other strange things, cooling fan runs at full speed, rear spoiler will go down but comes up again.?
anyone got some ideas.?...?

Spoiler fix is often caused by a bad battery, I have forgotten the high speed fan fix.
Thank you all for your input, resolderd the RCM module and now have engine start.
