13 MILE PARKING LOT RESTROOM UPDATE.....

Again thanks to Rapps,
We now have a deal with Leo's Coney Island at $5.00 per car ($150 total) to use their restrooms on Saturday.
They are open for business as well, it's really busy.
The Coney Island is in the corner of the strip mall near us.
We want to collect $5.00 CASH SATURDAY MORNING from each member/car then pay the owner on Saturday morning.
It's a done deal at $5 each car.

Remember that Ann (Rapps) spent time going to several businesses in attempt to negotiate use of their restrooms for Saturday.
Now thats what I call dedicated to the event.
So I hope each member who will be parking a car at 13 mile on Saturday will comply with the $5 request.
The women will thank you I'm sure.

Friday night dinner arrangements are coming together, just working out parking. Yes again with the parking. If it weren't Dream Cruise weekend parking wouldn't be a problem and if we didn't have 15+ very clean, polished, dent free cars they could be left any old place.

I need to know who is attending the Friday night dinner. It's currently arranged for 7:00 pm in Royal Oak. Time can be tweaked but if I don't know you want to join the group I can't include you in the reservation count. Currently I know of 12 members/ total of 20 people. I have everyone down for Sat. dinner EXCEPT Tony Sortino. Check your PMs.

I am going through the list of attendees and tracking the following vehicle data:
Year - Model - Body - Color (i.e. 2005 - SRT6 - Roadster - Black)

It will be interesting to see how it differs from last year. I'll try to post that data later on.

Is someone going to collect cell numbers of the folks attending the cruise and p.m. the list to each of us like last year? It was a big help if you needed to contact a member.

PARKING ANNOUNCEMENT (Zion Church-Mile 9)

Due to lack of interest and absolutely no feedback requesting parking at 9 mile (Zion Church) it is no longer an option for us to obtain any space at that location.
This option was posted 3 weeks ago here and nobody responded.
I have invited Church Lady to come visit all of us at 13 mile on Saturday.

 

Where is the dinner planned, or is it that 'find a place by the seat of our pants place'?
Also, is it ok to drive a Magnum SRT with the XF's on Friday?

 

Friday night dinner is in Royal Oak at Woody's Diner at 7:00 pm with reservations.

I'm trying to get a head count to give Woody's as well as arrange parking spots for the cars. Done now 7/25
Currently there are 15 cars with 26 people attending. Update of numbers soon 7/25
I personally don't care if a Magnum is driven on Friday, the only time I think the type of car matters is parking at 13 and Woodward on Saturday. That is a Crossfire only location.

Speaking of 13 and Woodward there is still one spot which a member had to give up.
Is there a member who would want to park their Crossfire there?
It's still the $25 which you would pay to the person who paid but can't attend.
Let me know.
