I am mailing everyone a map and written descriptions of where we are for each activity. Until you get the envelope, try google maps, north woodward shopping center royal oak and go to street view. We will be along the stores that are by Office Depot and Leo's Coney Island.

Thank you FP. To clarify the last two pictures are patches where as the first picture (with the three manufacturer's names on it) is a "hot press" design. It is on tee shirts only. These tee shirts are $15

 

I was notified today that due to illness one members wife can't join us. This brings up something I need to let everyone know. Saturday night, at Tavern on 13, the reservations are being held on my personal credit card. I am/was very comfortable about using mine, there is no doubt that a large XF group will be attending the WDC.
But to be fair to me, if you realize your not going to be there Saturday night, with us for dinner, even if it is as late as Saturday you need to let me know. I don't want to be stuck paying for your dinner because you didn't show up nor tell me. If that were to happen, which I don't expect will, you owe me the cost of what I had to pay to cover your empty seat. I will let you know via a post on this thread so it's clear on amount and who owes me. If you get an envelope, with a number written on the outside of it, then you have a reservation and this message is for you. Enough said, sorry to be so blunt. Ann

I was the only Crossfire there so wasn't hard to find me was it.

What would be the two-way radio frequency used by the group........any suggestions?
Maybe Valk could add that to his PM 'list' of attendees..........good to have when we are cruising.

BTW, Valk, Frank and FP, I may have a new sound by Friday; installing an 'X' pipe on my exhaust Thursday morning. This is something that I had planned to do since last year (you might remember me mentioning it); procrastination and not being able to find exactly what I needed delayed those plans. I now have the pipe.
The experts say that it should improve the exhaust flow, give me back some bottom end torque and might mellow the sound slightly...............we will find out on Thursday.

Now to give the 2004 SSB Coupe a 'good old cleaning'!

Do you think we can get through Windsor, cross bridge and get to hotel by NOON; hope so.

You shouldn't have too much of a problem. I can get here from Oakville in about 4 to 4.5 hours. Add .5 hours if I'm coming from Brampton.

You might want to consider crossing in Sarnia at the B.W. bridge. It keeps you from going so far south only to turn around and go north again.

 

I did say Windsor, didn't I................................I forgot that Sarnia is the way we would go, the same as last year.

Well it's almost here.
Me and Ann are putting on the final touches to the plan.
I have forwarded to RPM the spreadsheet with the personal contact info most of you have provided over the past months in attempt to make it available to only those who are shown on the list.
This will be password protected so your information will only be available to members attending WDC.
Ann says the forecast is 80 degrees and no rain so it should be a excellent meet.

Just an idea for our Canadian friends. When I go to or from Canada, I cross at Wallaceburg(just south of Sarnia. The two ferrys(one always going either way) hold about six cars, doesn't cost much, and gets you across the river in a flash. The customs booth is quick and easy as well.
