Yep for sure...I think back to that moment...while the highway was fairly quiet that afternoon with little traffic, it was amazing we didn't get caught, hurt ourselves or hurt somebody else....we just got caught up in the moment and the Crossfire handled the speed with amazing confidence. We have not been anywhere near that speed before or after since......

 

just given you the heads up, I do same thing every once awhile LOL !! , it is hell of alot fun

I wish I could retire!!! Still working out my work and off-duty schedule. I may have to work Sat. drive up Sat. night and spend Sunday playing around...

 

Look like the weather is going to be great for the weekend of the Dragon , Susan and i will be going down wed. will head back home Sunday , over all it look to be another great Dragon meet ,Almost Party Time , Few more Weeks , YA !!!!!!

 

I have 11 days to finish prepping the car... might have to call in sick a few days to get done, but such are the sacrifices we make, when we have our priorities right.

 

LMAO...just got home from the Chicago gtg. Great to see everone there. Kind of a primer for the Dragon...but, I hope the weather is better. Traffic sucked, The weather cleared up, but you know they call it the windy city for reason and it was windy. My niece is headed to Japan for a year, so I had to bug out early to make the tailend of her going away party. Didn't get to go downtown...but fun in all and met a few new people... So, now we are ready for the Dragon...and more XF's lined up in row...
I about forgot...I can add paddle shifters to the roadster's list of mods... Just wish I had longer fingers...lol

 

look like we may have chance to have some color on the trees this yr as temp here drop down to 37 deg. last night , Warm days cold nights , oh ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!

 

Oh crap, now what do I do ,,it never gets that coooold here. I will have to borrow a jacket, as i don't own one., my son maybe can loan me one ,,i will bare the cold to go to the dragon.,,,Maybe. whenever it gets below 70 degrees I DON"T LIKE IT. (((unless it is in an air conditioned room))) jim

 

I'm with you Jim.... Old bones don't like the cold anymore, but our superchargers do...

 

so between the supercharger in my body. I need to get them both to stay lukewarm and everything would be fine. lol

 

Had the Vette out today , and I can tell u this it like the cool air too just hope i can keep tires on dam thing, it alot fun LOL

 

They make new tires every day. Dont worry about it.
I going to the dragon on my mediocre rear tires, hopeing to return ready for new ones so I can replace and sell!

 

that's what you get driving that big ole' sporty car rather than the nice little sporty car....

 

ya that little sport car is great for u little guys LOL , us big guys need bigger sports cars , LOL !!

 

Oh here we go....I guess its so the seat can go back further so it doesn't cramp the "middle leg"

 

I have about 70% on them , i got new rims,tires ready to go on after frist of yr , going up a tire size on front and back , so be bring down the Vette to run some tire off , like to use them up anyway before i start new , and i like know how it will run on the DRagon
