Ok. I am going to list my runs. Saturday I will lead a "Spirited Tourist Group" (Speed limit with a little fun but not crazy) to Tallulah Gorge and Falls. Lunch TBD. Sunday I am leading a full day tour to Clingmans Dome, Great Smokey Mountains National Park with Lunch at Applewoods Farm in Seviervillle , TN ( Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant ) Then a fun run via some back roads along a river to Foot Hills Parkway, The Tail Of the Dragon with Dinner at Tapoco Lodge. Crystal stick with me kiddo and we will have fun!
BTW, "Spirited Tourist" is where for the most part we do the speed limit (or close to it) with some fun burst of blowing out the carbon...

Oh, you do realize there are 79 other cars at the dragon that weekend and the event isn't all about you?
I have never been on Michael's runs, but I have only heard amazing things about them.
As far as being alone in a crowded room, that's on you. Sometime you have to make the effort, otherwise you appear to be the one thats stuck up and doesn't want to socialize. The dragon is an incredible event with some of the best people in the world attending. If you don't walk away making a few friends then, You did something wrong"

The Dragon meet ain't high school with cliques and jocks and judgments. And it ain't the yatch club either. Open up and be yourself, pretentions don't work with honest friendly people who see each other little more than once a year. Just have a good time.

So, it is more about who I definitely want to spend time with at this Dragon and worry that I might not see some of them at all (yes I understand this happens all the time). And of course I want to meet new people... But, I honesty can not handle being in a large group of people that I do not know that well. I would need some people around me that I feel comfortable around. That would help a lot to make me feel more at ease.
And this will all be behind you before the remainder of the weekend crowd even gets to Fontana Village. You & your husband are sort of celebrities, as far as I am concerned. It's not every day that you get to meet someone that owns 7 Crossfires!! You might have more friends that you want!! You'll have a great weekend.

So happy that I found out today I CAN get to the Dragon! So count me in. I wasn't able to get a lodge room (obviously), but was lucky enough to get a cabin. Carmen Crossfire and I are very excited. In fact, she was so excited to come, she made me buy her new sneakers for the trip.

Devil's Triangle Run on Friday
Friday, 3 cars will leave Kennesaw, GA in the morning, heading up to Devil's Triangle to be there around noon.
After the Triangle we cruising to the Lodge, to be there probably around 5pm
Who ever want to participate and is already at the Lodge can meet us in Oliver Springs.
