She is watching that thread, not sure she's watching this one closely.
We tried to talk the Lodge into a room to hold it, but "$300 please" was all we got in response.
THEN, the other group grabbed the big hall anyway.
I think there is talk of holding it at Barb and Terry's cabin (on the grounds of Fontana) but Im not sure.
When you arrive, the location will be on the "Crossfire" dry erase board in the lobby.
I have an idea, but I want to talk to Marie first and I'll do that tomorrow - had a brainstorm (or something) today.

Thanks Mark for all you are doing to make this happen! I meant to tell you that Barb & Terry forfeited their cabin for a room in the resort. I asked Terry a couple of days ago about using her room and that is when she told me. 
I am going to need to contact the resort to find out where I can heat up the Gumbo, unless you have another idea Mark. I have never been, so I have no idea what facilities they have.
I think the idea you mentioned to me earlier might work. Do you need to me call the resort tomorrow?
Also, everyone who is attending the Gumbo event needs to check the list to see if their name is on it. If your name is not on it, but should be, please comment in that thread indicating that I need to add you to the list.
Mark is correct, I am monitoring that thread very closely. I have the link on my Bookmark Bar and lately I have been checking it 2-3 times a day.

Mark, you mean we asked for it first and they wanted to charge us but the other group got it for free? We have far more attendees, so I am confused as to why they would not accommodate us.

Nathaly & Chris will be attending for the first time in Nathaly's 2004.
We are from Hamburg, NJ and will arrive on Friday night and have to leave Sunday morning.

That being said the Fontana Lodge is very good to us and has been for the past 10 years

FYI cell phones do not work, so bring a physical map or instructions... unless you have a GPS device that doesn't rely on cell towers for information.

Ok, latest version of the Attendee Package. I tried to edit it and get it as close to 'right' as I could.
You will find info on the (now TWO) driver's meetings as well as the welcome Gumbo and the new routes our leaders have come up with.
NO GUARANTEES that we will hold to this 100%, but this is our plan. Who knows what the weekend will bring?

Super excited about this upcoming weekend. Considering what Mark told me last night, this could be one of the best dragon events ever. I'd totally tell you guys what it is, but I can't. Probably shouldn't post this, but I'm just too excited
