Smile New Crossfire Owner, question about oil type

So I'm a new crossfire owner and I absolutely love the car. So a month ago I went to a dealership to trade in My 2000 Expy with a Porsche boxster , Since my buddy had just bought one and I was kinda jealous , since I was about to buy a car , I thought to buy a newer boxer just to rub it in his face. When I got to the dealership , First thing I saw was the crossfire , and I immediately forgot about the boxster , the caveat was that the crossfire had a rebuild title , when they pulled the carfax , it did not have any major damage at all , not sure why the insurance totalled the care . Long story short , I ended up buying the car and so far I'm really impressed. I'm getting ready to take a long road trip from the northwest to the Midwest. I saw somewhere on the forum that the crossfire should use a certain type of oil ? If so , can someone please help me out here .

Here is a pic on my crossfire

Congratulations on the new car. They are great. However, be very careful on your travels. The ABS works well, but they are not very good on snow or ice because of the RWD and wide tires.

From the Crossfire Owner's Manual;

Engine Oil:

Only use synthetic engine oils, approved to MB 229.3 or MB 229.5, such as
Mobil 1 SAE 0W-40. The FSS may not alert for an oil change at the proper
interval if an unapproved engine oil is used; engine damage and reduced
engine life may result.

There are 20 or so oils that meet MB 229.3 or MB 229.5 so you have a lot of choices, do a search and you'll find the complete list. Mobil 1 is the factory fill and is a good choice.

Close, but not quite ... I see "limited" trim.

You guys have pretty sharp eyes noticing that Limited trim and all.

Personally, I'd LOVE to know how he got that Roadster top so shiny!
