Attorney, asking loaded questions. Go figure. OK, I will lighten up. Welcome aboard. Expect fun, excitement, and more citations from us on the other side, lol. The only bad experiences with the roadsters, and for the record, I haven't experienced these yet, is the rear windows. If left in the hot sun, they seem to fall out. Some have had problems with the top going up and down. Usually the trunk divider switch. But other than that, you will get a lot of head turning and compliments.

Welcome to a great Forum. It's very informative, and if you like to do your own wrenching, will save you a lot of time and money. What's the difference between a Lawyer and a Forum member?................ We don't charge for our advice. Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Congratulations and welcome to the Forum! It's a great forum with a lot of great information. I've had my Roadster one year this April. I've never had so much fun driving a car and have never had so many people going out of their way to talk about the beauty of this car.

Yesterday, the temp hit 64 degrees, here, and after having it parked for six weeks because of snow, I got er out for a drive. Drove out to a fine strip of asphalt 4 miles to the north, with low traffic, and lowered the top. Drove 10 miles round trip with the top down while zipping through the curves like floating on air. After a short winter hiatus, it all came back in an instant....can't wait for spring....

I drove mine all winter off and on, the only problem is playing dodge ball with the crazies - they are eveywhere. I think that they aren't bad in the snow as long as you realize that they aren't 4x4's. Welcome to the forum, and remenber there are lots of events held around the country to attend.

Too bad the max speed limit in NY is 55. Here in Texas it is 70.... which means you can do 75 without a problem.

Our cars are cop magnets. Just this past weekend I took it for a short drive around the block. First drive in a month. A cop waved to me... which is a good change for me because usually they just pull me over to say "hello".

Actually 8 and a half. I still remember when I bought the car brand new in 2005. After my first 1K miles I decided to have an oil change. SHocked when I got the bill. The woman at the counter said "don't feel bad... Vipers are even more expensive". I said "it is not a viper"!

Thumbs up Re: X Fire Newbie

Don't be afraid to drive it in the winter. Its as much fun as driving in the summer. If you wash it once a week to get the salt off, corrosion will not be a problem. Road salt is only a problem if you leave it on week after week. Get some good snow tires and you will have fun 365 days a year.

Well Mark, there's plenty of snow here to drive it in. Almost another foot of the fluffy stuff yesterday.
