No audio on purpose...didn't have time for a proper voice-over, and I hate my voice, anyway!
I have owned two 05 Roadsters and have TWO letters from Chrysler telling me that both tops are covered for ten years.
Why the hell isn't yours?
Why the hell isn't yours?
I will check my letter when I get home, maybe the 100,000 IS mentioned, but I was thinking it was unlimited. I was the second owner of the Red car, and am the third owner of this one.
I'll check back in here after I get home tonight.
(Three thumbs up on the video, you made it look very easy - but I always thought you could just lift the window and unlatch the top. ALSO, I didn't think one person could do it alone. Anyway, tonight, I will try lowering and raising MY top manually!

My rear window fell out last summer without any warning so I very carefully reglued it with the 3M primer and window sealant after lots of tedious prep work. Would be nice to have the peace of mind that Chrysler would cover the top in case I have trouble again in the future.

I say the 10 years, but didn't remember reading 100,000 miles.
My VIN is 36751 and the previous car was 33951. The first car was sold and stayed in Georgia it's whole life. The one I have now? Don't remember where it was sold originally, but the second owner bought it in Oregon and then moved to Arizona where it stayed with him for four years. It is obvious that, somewhere along the line, the rear window was reglued.
There is a thread here on how to reglue it yourself, the precedure was developed by a member in Arizona. His fix seems to work, period.
Now, out to the garage to try putting my top down manually.
Why? Did yours break?
Anyway, here is the procedure:

Hope that helps.
Anyway, 1,000 thank yous on the video. I saw the procedure in the manual, but somehow your video got me to go out and try it. I have the official emergency wrench, but they do NOT provide an allen wrench to start the process! I now have the right sized wrench in the flap between the seats with the emergency wrench. I put it down manually, but put it up electrically. In reality, I'd probably be putting it UP manually, but I get the procedure.
Also, mine did NOTHING when I tried to release pressure, but that makes sense, since in the NORMAL operation of the top, there is no pressure in the system unless you are putting it up or down. And even part way thru, if you stop the process, after about 10 minutes, all pressure is released anyway and everything relaxes - even if this means that the top is in a position where things should NOT relax!
Read about this in section 23 of the manual, mostly page 23-482!
