I am VERY interested in this group buy. I have had my 2007 Roadster since 2011 and have been dreading the day that my rear window fell out. That day happened suddenly yesterday. The window appeared to have been perfectly fine the day before, but when I walked up behind it, I noticed the top was sagging and the window was detached along the side and partially on top. Luckily it happened on one of the few days it hasn't rained. Needless to say I am sick about this, especially after researching the costs of replacement, so this potentential group buy would be a godsend.

I think it's time for someone to arrange another group buy.

I know I mentioned it to Crystal and she said she was going to be needing another for another of her cars as well.

Crystal just had a group buy a few weeks ago
This was the third time she has requested it
Not sure how many times BAS will offer this lower group pricing but i said to Crystal this last time she set up a group buy the she should suggest to Rebecca at BAS to just offer the tops at the discounted price continuously if the profit margin allows it

 

I'm sure Rebecca realizes that we are SPECIAL, right ?

 

I live in Australia, and bought a top thru Crystals great efforts to organise a group buy, it was just under a $1000 landed in Tasmania. A bargain, my upholsterer said he will fit new top for $500/$600. In my opinion better quality than factory.

 

Will you ever make another group ?

 

There WILL be another group buy. Not sure when, but I'm gonna need a new top - thinking about later this year - October or so.
If she does not start one by then, I probably will.

just to let you guys know, the is currently a 7-8 week backlog on production of Black tops. I have been waiting 7 weeks and still no top. BAS did inform me of the 2-3 week delay due to short supply from the mohair supplier, on top of the 5 week production time. Not their fault...but just know...

Yea, Crystal just got her's last week - it was ordered, I believe, in May.
