got the conv about a month ago---working thru many neglected problems--spoiler goes up at 60 fine--wont open with the switch---any ideas??checked fuses--ok need to get it open---half the brake lite leds are out

If the wing works with speed, then the BCM, motor, fuses and limit switches are all good.
It really is the switch on the dash or the wiring to the BCM from the switch.

 

My guess would be a bad switch or loose wire?

I wonder if this is one of those cars someone has done some mods to the center console... maybe knocked a wire off.

 

thanks for the replies---looks like center console has been out before---will check switch/wiring soon.
