First thing I would check is the fluid level in the pump reservoir.
It is located behind the paneling in the left rear luggage compartment.

The blink has stopped and I realized this event occured after the car wash.. Can it be relevant to the car wash ? Do you have any experiences about that ?

The blink means the cycle did not complete when you moved the top the last time. This can be simply due to letting go of the button before the beep.
Other than that, you either have low fluid or a pump going bad, based on the slow movement.

The tank is on the pump assembly, driver's side wheel well, back by the tail light assembly. Hit the button to put the top up or down, when the big lid raises, let go of the button and you can look down in there.

Tank is not visible here, but it's at the location shown, it's hiding behind the Top Control Module.

If I remember correctly, the level is read through the side of the semitransparent bottle (tank), there is no cap level bar in the cap. If there is one, this is the first I heard of it. Good luck!

Top hydraulics rebuilds them. To my knowledge no new ones are available.

Parts like those are hard to find, and this problem is, as I look at it, part of the "charm" of our cars.

Best of luck to you, sunman.
