upon doing a full fluid swap i decided to swap the pump. futher inspection of the pump showed copper winding failure in 2 spots on the pump. the inside was completely covered in black soot.

i know have a little over 40k on the car with no i/c issues. a search thru mb world or benzworld will show most use the cm30 due to its longevity and superior flow. while this forum may be fairly new to the cm30 it is primarily a marine pump and well proven
if you search the c32 or r170 forums you will find many drivers swapping to the cm30. i cant speak for the stang or lightning guys. im sure most here are aware the slk32 and the srt6 are very similar with the exception of the body. frame driveline suspension brakes are all the same.
the major difference is i have the choice of a hardtop or a convertible!!

Now about separation engine radiator from IC HE do you mean I will need 2 pumps 1 for radiator and 1 for HE? If yes, so do I need to order cm30 pump or it will not need if I separate systems and then 2 bosh pumps will be ok ?

no. you are simply rerouting the hoses so that the fluid from the radiator anf the fluid from the i/c do not mix. the pump only flows for the i/c. the waterpump on the motor flows for the radiator 1 pump is all that is needed

im not sure if you have seen these videos by waldig. it may help explain things https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...taaa-daaa.html

Slk32krazy i do not need guarantee answer for my car I just need a suggestion if there is a performance for that you have already answered that YEAS there is temp. drop and second that it is not a fact that if use cm30 pump then IC will definitely leak because of increased pressure, you told me that many people use and nothing happened that is all I need to know. So will go for it thank you

Yes - you will see a 25*F - 35*F reduction in IC coolant temperature by isolating the the IC coolant from the Engine coolant system.

Here is a easy do-it-yourself post. It would be a little different for the C32 as you dont use the same factory surge tank. - but it should add reliability to the system. <LINK>

No - The CM30 pump will not harm your intercooler, or will it reduce your IC coolant temps that much - when no other changes to your system are made.

now i understand how to separate, but do not you think that huge HE will interrupt air flow to on the engine radiator?

its my understanding by going to a 170 or 180 degree thermostat and resetting the fans to come on 10 degrees sooner there anrent any issues with the supercooler. many srt6 owners have them and no issues have arisen
engine temps dont seem to be an issue with these engines. its the i/c temps that most worry about.

let/eurocharged makes a h/e as does needswings. im not sure if the needswings will work email them to find out.
code 3 also makes a h/e but they are having some serious customer service issues, you may want to wait to see if they survive the fallout
by using the videos a custom unit can be made easily with some measurements and a competent welder

the h/e used by woody is summit racing part number sum380645

also the separation of the i/c and the engine fluids is not mandatory. with the new h/e and cm30 installed with the factory plumbing you will still see reduced temps
