Default coolant recovery/overflow/expansion tank

I have been fight a leak in my stock tank for some time. I thought I had it fixed and a pin hole leak has occured again. My balast module is under the tank so any amount of fluid that leaks, drops onto this... bad news. Anyway, I have looked at getting a replacement, OEM or aftermarket, but can't find the proper part number and any aftermarket ones with a filler top are $100+.

I am looking for any ideas or solutions, and hope they are within my budget. I have JB welded the stocker several times and it always seems to leak after some time, heat and pressure build up. Thanks in advance.

Why not just plastic weld the leak in the tank?

I am not going to have a search debate, however I did search on ebay and hence I am asking for the mercedes part number. I don't trust the pics on ebay to signify the correct tank. If you know that a certain model has the same tank as our car then that is helpful. I have already purchased a tank from the C32 that did not work.

If you want the factory coolant tank for the N/A I have one up for grabs. If you need one for an SRT, I can get them for $120 plus give or take $10 for shipping. Don't have the part number in front of me but let me know if you need me to order one and get it on it's way to you.

I am on my fourth epoxy, but this one seems promising. I had tried the high temp or JB weld compounds and the JB epoxy worked the best, it still didn't hold fast to the surface. The fluid was able to get under the hardened material and find a escape route. I am hoping this Plastic Weld Epoxy will bind better to the tank and keep the pressure and fluids where they belong.

If I were to spend 100 dollars on a replacement, it would be a nicer aftermarket addition. There are alot on ebay but didn't know what models carry the same tank as ours. I was hoping someone that had the information from past replacement would chime in, so I could get it on order immediately. Thanks for everyones help, and I should be better prepared if and when this bandaid comes off.

Lots of compounds do not stick to plastic. One way that might work is a small wood screw screwed into the hole. This relies on the taper to jam into the hole.
