*Needed* 20 to Pre-order Wavetrac LSD for SLK32/SRT-6
I actually lost .3 per lap a couple weekends ago. Not sure what the problem was, maybe the driver
I'm hoping a full second per 2 minute lap is doable with the WaveTrac

Whew! The added delay is actually a boon for me. My furnace just died. So there's an unscheduled $2,500 expense staring me in the face. I suppose I can wait a little longer on the LSD.

Heck at this rate, I might be on social security by the time its ready... (joking)
LOL, yeah, if my fiance died, I wouldn't be too worried about an LSD. Afterall, while they're still in the "fiance" stage, they're pretty likable. It's much later that you might not be so upset...
The delay Sucks............................................. ...........I want to say a lot more, but i will leave it at that....

This thread started June last year. Now we are looking at March or April for the prototype.... then production will begin and it will be another few months (hoping the production of the prototype is a success).
I proceeded with caution 7 months ago and got blasted for it. Now people are agitated and asking for a further discount since they paid the deposit months ago. I hate to be a debbie downer....
I am sure everyone will be happy in the end. It is just going to take time and patience. Part of the reason why people made the deposit was so they could develop this rear. That is just part of the deal. You should have known your money will be tied up the day you spent it. You should also be prepared to lose that money---- God Forbid!

I didn't get involved because I was not prepared to lose the money. I did not take the risk but there are others here that did. Whenever you spend money for something that isn't built yet you take a risk. That is called street smart and common sense. There are people here that feel the risk is worth it and that is why they paid the money. I am interested in the rear but I am not interested in getting it this way. That is simply the way I feel about it. Nothing wrong with that.
I defend you and say people should not be complaining about it. If they knew they would complain about it months later they shouldn't have gotten involved. They should have known that from the start.

frustrating? yes. but just like those that vote only the ones participating can bi^%th about it.
I don't see a danger of loosing my money. I would use the word disappointed about the extended wait in front of us. I have confidence that this product will be first class.

I also feel sorry for you at the same time. Running a deal like this takes a lot! People complaining and counting on you to deliver. That is why I don't do things like this. I can't handle the nonsense.

have misunderstood my meaning, and coupled with the other post you felt like we
were whining. Well, I've read a lot of whining, but it really hasn't been about the
delay in producing the Wavetrac.
Anyway, this ain't my first group buy on this forum, and like everything else we've
seen about this car, I've learned to be patient. Now, you boys take off your gloves
and settle down. Let's get this thread back on topic.

Heck, I'm just happy to spend $1,000 for a LSD rather than break my OEM one and pay $3,000-$4,000 to get it replaced with the same weak part. I don't care how long it takes. I'm not driving it in this snow anyway!
