On the odd noises, one appears to be the bearing in the alternator starting to show its age, and the other seems to be the pinion bearing. That one is not real bad, and only makes audible noise above 75mph. Just a little high pitched whine. I'll probably have to have that replaced in the near future.
Hello there, I have the 2005 SRT6, and have gone through 2, supercharger pulleys...I love the look of your pulley, what do I need to get one and are there any major differences with this and the original pulley for the car, in output. How can I get one, how much to ship to Toronto Ontario Canada. What will the delivery time be, and what else will I have to change in the car to accomodate this pulley...Thanks for your help.

Just got my car back from Buckhead Imports where it was being checked for an odd noise or two, as well as getting retuned for the 62mm SC pulley. I, too, was told it was leaning out at around 5000 RPM and that I'd need to upgrade my fuel delivery. Ordered the Walbro unit from Needswings and it should be here in a day or so. I'll install that and run back down to BI to get the tune re-adjusted, then I'll have some fun seeing what the new power is really like.

As for needed mods to support this, a tune is the only thing you really need on a stock car but if you have an intake and the other power adders, you're getting significantly more air to the motor and you will want to upgrade your fuel system to keep everything in check. As for other mods, this really plays well with others and I had it on my car for over 10k miles and the only issue I had was shredding the tires at every opportunity. LOL

Take care everyone and have a Merry Chirstmas and a safe and happy New Year.
I just had my car on the dyno yesterday, after installing the Walbro fuel pump, and we were able to correct the leaning condition over 5000 RPM. I may or may not post the graph, as I don't like the numbers being reported from this dyno (DynoDynamics) as the numbers on this type are less than those on a DynoJet. I think I'm going to go over to DynoLabs where I've had dyno pulls on a DynoJet, which last reported 335HP and 332 ft/lbs of Torque.
I do have "before" and "after" graphs. The before comes from March of this year, when I had the Wavetrac installed. The before, on the DynoDynamics unit, showed 305HP and 317 ft/lbs. Yesterday's pull on the DynoDynamics showed 330HP and almost 380 ft/lbs of torque. So, basically, it looks like the
new "Karmann" pulley is responsible for about 25HP and 60 ft/lbs. The "butt-dyno" definitly picked up on the additional power.
After I've gone to DynLabs and had a couple fo pulls on their DynoJet, I'll post up graphs from both the DynoJet and DynoDynamics dynomometers.

Thanks. I'm still waiting on a cable from EC so we can correct the leaning problem. I will have to go to a Dyno once I install the meth setup. Still looking for one closer to me.
why bother? dyno is just a tool and the # doesnt mean much on the street. i dyno'd the lowest # ever on buckheads dyno at 347 rwhp. then went to the track that nite and hit the 11's. backed it up the next day in 80* heat with another 11 sec run. dont let the # fool you. its the way the # are used for tuning that counts
Dyno is a must to compare and tune. You have to stay on the same one for sure. Then the track for times after each mod. That way you get at least a smile for the tenth of a second and the $1000 you just spent.
My dyno's with a Needswings single and Code3 pulley were under 300 hp. It wasn't until I got a tune that I broke that barrier. It's easy to say don't worry about the low numbers and I'll say the same, even though I had doubts when mine were low compared to what others were reporting. Having spent lots of time on a dyno I'll echo what's already been said, dyno's are principally for tuning and measuring the effectiveness of changes ....... and dyno days to make extra profits. My best Mustang dyno was in my sig, dragtimes calculator says between 380 and 385 at the crank for me. You know your car is fast and making safe power. That's all that's important.

Its just a tool
Some cars dyno great with nice #'s and some don't. Cars with a turbo are prime examples of great #'s
The numbers from my car are pretty good but they were having troubles keeping the car in one gear. Since then that issue was delt with. When I was attending All Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle PA they could not get my car perform proper. Lack of exp with an auto I guess and they would not anyone else up there to do it.
(videos on youtube) But I'm happy with the results. Lower dyno numbers but A/F is perfect along with everything else to make a reliable street car.
They do great work there. Too bad that SOB dyno is such a Heart Breaker.

After seeing 1/2 mile times from other Crossfires I knew I had a fast one no matter the numbers. It also highlighted my slow driving skills. But I agree, go back to your home dyno. I always use the same one.

LOL
Are you referring to my lack-luster appearance.
Who said lack-luster? A 11 second car is never lack luster. But yes, I was referring to your times. I don't have anyone else to compare to and know where I more or less stand. Yous gots my reespet!

I've heard that Mustang and DynoDynamics return "low" numbers, where a DynoJet will return higher numbers. So, for a true comparison, I'll need to get the pulls on the DynoJet.
That's what I'm saying. An additional 25 HP, as measured on a DynoDynamics dynometer. I plan to check that with a couple/few pulls on the same DynoJet dynometer that I've had testing done on before, to see if I get the same spread. Should have that done sometime in the next week. This is a change from the Code 3 pulley to the new Karman 62mm pulley.
