I don't think that stacked will be the solution for longer runs. I want to build a car capable of running many laps around the ring not just 1/4mile.

Just go for it! 1 quick lap is all you need!

Guys, we're a day and a half away from the close of the group buy. If you're on the fence thinking about it, now'd be the time to get in on this as only two more people need to sign up and they'll be down to $650 each!

Take care

would the DIY Belt Wrap Kit work with this pulley instead of the needswings PSK?

Hey Jiggity and Sparkie, if we don't get the additional 2 buyers before tomorrow's close on the
group buy deal, would you guys be dropping from the buy, or would you be willing to slide up to
positions 7 and 8? That would still be a $75 dollar savings over retail.

I CAN'T STAND IT any longer. I have been working very hard to resist buying a pulley through the initial ebay batch of 62mms, through 32Krazy's partout, and through this group buy. But I don't have any resistance left in me! I really want one of these pulleys! I'm on the # 8 spot. Does that make the group buy $650?

I had better buy the wife some flowers.

I'll agree with that, but you might want to get a really big bunch or roses. To keep my
wife happy, I've bought her a new soft top for her Wrangler Unlimited. Price is just
about the same, so she's happy.

You're on the list and your wife will love the flowers.

Now that the group buy is up to 10, that makes the pulleys $650 each and there's still a day left to get in on the pricing!

Now the question becomes payment. When is payment due? And in what form is payment
acceptable. If this has already been noted in the thread, then I must have missed it and
apologize in advance for asking for a repeat.

For everyone who is purchasing, who are you guys going to for the re-tune? And can anyone chime in regarding the belt wrap kit or is the needswings PSK the only belt wrap that will work. I currently have a Eurocharged flash tune and am worried if I get this I would need to get either dyno tuned or send in data logs to get tuned.

I have a Eurocharged custom tune, so I will be sticking with them. If you can't or don't want to do a dyno tune or send in data logs, I would suggest talking to someone at Euracharged. I'm sure they have plenty of flash tune combinations for both 181 and 185 pulleys with other mods, and since this pulley falls between those two as far as boost is concerned, I'd bet they can give you something that will work.

Just as a point of reference, a 181 crank pulley is about equivalent to a 62.5mm supercharger pulley. The 185mm crank is about equivalent to a 61.2mm SC pulley.

As for the belt wrap/NW PSK, I have a custom DIY belt wrap kit I bought off of another forum member quite awhile ago. I'll just have to wait and see if it will work with this pulley.

Not enough material and even if there were, the surface area at that point would be diminished to the point where any potential gains would be negated by belt slip.

so what would be needed to be changed when stacking this 62mm with a 178mm crank pulley, besides tune obviously?
injectors, rails, fuel pump, plugs?

You'd need water meth injection AND run an ice tank as the stock charge air cooling system is just not up for the task and the IATs you'd see by putting these together would be insane.

Was wondering how much work to cut open the IC and convert it from triple pass to single pass....would be a massive performance boost in lowering IAT's. Likely way too much work and obviously way beyond my abilities!

Since you worked on my car I have separated cooling with a small res - to confirm what I suspect is my IC is leaking and have a replacement IC from Grip Grip ready to go. Also swapping out HE with a E55AMG HE next week. Still not enough to avoid meth/ice I assume?
