400 miles on full tank (SRT6 coupe)
Re: 400 miles on full tank (SRT6 coupe)
I call BS on that
I had the best distance on a tank of fuel with my car on the way home, from full (with topping up) to below the red spot and on the white line below that I got 308.2miles.
Looks like I will have an expensive trip to the dragon this fall with extra stops along the way.

400 miles? No way with my car. In my normal commute in absolutely horrible traffic I average around 19 mpg. The best I have been able to achieve under ideal highway conditions is about 23 mpg. That's about 225 miles (12 gal @ 19mpg) when I usually fill up and maybe 325 (14 gal @ 23mpg) if I really push it on the highway.
Considering the tall rear end gear and the smallish 3.2L V6 I expected better mpg than my Vettes but this thing sucks gas like a Chupacabra sucks blood. This is my first S/C car. My turbos seemed a lot more efficient when driven gently. No complaints though. I love the engine/transmission combination.
I have the Eurocharged tune BTW.

As I wrote, "lambo, tts and other kills all during this tank" so nope. I have been pushing a lot. But I have to say that it is drinking a lot for only doing 400 miles. But hey, maybe I should be happy
