Finally the tune is done, 366whp
Hi everyone,
Finally the Black Series project is done regarding the engine mods. We are now putting down 366whp. The picture shows the run(356whp) before we got to the 366 numbers. The dyno that was used was a Dynomite dyno which is a load bearing dyno where the numbers are about 13% lower then for example for the Dynojet.
We are very pleased with the result and after about 10 hours of work we have reached the maximum numbers of 366whp.
The following mods was installed by the help of Rob at Needswings:
- 61mm eurocharged SC pulley
- Custom manifold
- 90mm throttlebody
- Custom made intercooler, 3/4" inlet and outlet
- Supercooler
- Separeted intercooler coolant
- Catch can
- DCAI which was remaid to fit the 90mm throttle body
- Cutout downpipes
- CM90 intercooler pump, 17GPH
- Increased the valve ventilation
- Increased the RPM limiter to 6800rpm
- Increased the torque limiter
- Finetuned the TCM for holding the gears in the higher revs
- SL55 pump
- AEM fuel pressure regulator
- 550cc TTM injectors
- Closed loop fuel rail
The result is fantastic, no dip in the AFR, no dip in the fuel pressure, no dip in the air flow.
Even after 8 hours of hard testing on the dyno the engine stayed so cool that my mechanic was wondering about the secret under the SC
Many thanks to Rob who has helped us with this project

nice project!
can you please show us a video showing the rpm going to 6800 without hitting limiter on the road not on the dyno, who did the tune for the rpm? i am interested cause till now i didn't find any tuner that can raise the rpm still till 6500 without hitting limiter.

I will make a 4 wheel adjustment tomorrow. The weather here in Sweden is starting to get below zero but maybe I can try to make a run in hour tunnels under Stockholm
Maybe I can make a run tomorrow if the weather let me.
Have nice day
Me too, been hearing about one for a long time now.
About the 90mm TB. Rob is the one who has build me one with a new TB housing. We wanted to be sure that everything works as accepted before we would let anyone in on this. I have been driving my car around a bit now plus I have done the dyno and I can say that it works great. I think though that people who are interested in this mod will need the custom intakes and the DCAI to make use of the extra air fuel. I think that some kind of pulley upgrade together with this mod requires bigger injectors and pump.
I can't say though how much the extra whp the bigger TB gets because I have had my car stripped down for almost a year and done all the mods at once.
I would be nice if someone else tried the bigger TB with before and after numbers to see the benefit.

Hi everyone,
Sorry for not having any videos or logs. When I was by the mechanic for doing the 4 wheel adjustment we saw after lifting up the car that all 4 CV joints where damaged. So another setback for the project. It seems that the last couple of month it's one setback to another.
Somehow the rubber dustcover was toried into pieces on both sides on both the inner and outer. We don't have any clue how this happened what I know is that I have to drop the rear end and fix my CV joints and the worst thing will be the cleaning of the old grease.
The bad thing is that the winter is coming and maybe I won't have time to Finnish up until the snow is here.
