EGR Valve problem?

My guys at the shop haven't been able to duplicate/experience the lunging or bogging when the supercharger doesn't engage. I will print this info on the secondary water pump & hope they'll take me seriously. Thanks again for sharing.

Who told you it was an EGR problem from the get go?

caused an overtemp shutdown of the SC. Once replaced the problem
was resolved.
The service department at the dealership told me initially that it was an
EGR problem, as they had seen a code for this from the OBD.

Any mention by any of those dealerships whether the intercooler water pump change was a TSB related problem? Seems that at least a few of you have the same IC cut-out issue... Also, for those affected, by chance could you post your individual build dates? Could be related to a given build date that may or may not be under a current TSB.
I'm new on this forum and we had the E-19 done. Haven't yet (nor hope to) have the IC-water-pump issue. Our build date is 8/2004 for our 2005 SRT-6. Wife drives the car mostly... She wouldn't know the difference. I will have to take it out for hard spin now that summer approaches to see if the supercharger cuts out from this overtemp condition on the IC. Thanks.

Do you know anyone that has separated out the IC cooling system from the main and run two separate systems? Thanks.
The codes were not reported to me, so I do not have them to provide. Sorry about that. As for the "punch" being gone, have you tried resetting
the driver profile? The procedure for doing this has been posted often,
but to save you the time...
With engine off...
Ignition key to the "run" position
Press the accelerator pedal to the floor and hold for 5 seconds
Ignition key to the "off" position
Remove pressure from the accelerator pedal.
wait 2 minutes
Over time the electronic brain builds a profile of your driving style and
adjusts shift points, etc to what it feels is correct for your driving behavior.
Myself, I drive the **** out of the car, but I still find myself resetting the
profile back to defaults fairly often due to the "rush hour" traffic I have
to endure each morning and evening.
As for knowing of anyone who has separated the cooling systems, I'm
afraid I do not. Sorry I can't help there. But, if you take on this project,
please keep the group informed.
