Your already well into 320-350+ hp area with these mods alone.

that's already 140 hp on top of the 215 hp, and that's being conservative I didn't even take into account higher CR. you could have a 350hp NA motor easily
With all due respect, i think that would be an unwise investment. One would spend a lot of time, money and energy and in the end it would be less reliable than a FI motor that pumps out the same power without breaking a sweat.

Just my .02, which isnt worth much.

Hey modifying cars is an unwise investment period, I just would like to see what a deep breathining 3.2 NA motor can do, and the best part is that there is no hasling with all the Bosch ecu electronics and draggy supercharger system. besides boost is always cheating.

There is only 1 rebuild kit for the M112 engine... The porting of the cylinders is miniscule, something like 1/10 of an inch unless it's a CUSTOM job as I mentioned... Your best bet is to tear the engine down and send it to Extrude Hone for porting and polishing of the intakes / exhaust ports...

yeah but that 1/10 of an inch makes 35 hp, and then add to that the higher lift cams, you're not far from 280 hp. but you're right if you're going to go to all the effort of doing a tear down I might as well reasearch another way of making more displacement. but I have a feeling that the 3.7L sleeve and piston kit is tatally maxed out, otherwise someone else would have a larger displacement motor on the market. maybe I'm wrong.

Sorry this is off the subject, but thought I would share some shots from the new Knight Rider movie I'm doing right now... I can't "legally" show you photos of the car because we had to sign a non-disclosure agreement with NBC / Universal, but I can show you some shots of my camera rigs and crew...

I can tell you that "kitt" is a Shelby GT500 KR that puts 550 hp to the wheels with a Whipple SC from Ford Racing... We have 6 of them... The "hero" car rips AZZ... I have had the pleasure to take it on a few speed runs... The sad part is that we're going to "T-bone" one of them next sunday and destroy it... And probably a few cameras as well...

This is a shot of our motorcycle camera chase vehicle.

This is a shot of our GATOR chase camera vehicle.

And this is a shot of the "Russian Arm" gyro stabilized camera on the Escalade... It's putting 600 hp to the wheels...

Well I am not giving away secrets that HOFF does have a role in the show... It's listed on IMDB.com

And I'm not giving away secrets that KITT is a Shelby GT 500 because that is also listed on jalopnik.com

So that's pretty much all I can say since that information is already on the internet...

So, yes... you will see Knight Rider as a movie of the week on NBC in the spring and it may become a TV series again...

No offense to you guys working in show biz, but is this the best they can do? This is 2007 and we're doing remakes of bad TV shows from the 80's? Where are the creative minds, I think it's time for some new writers!

Well at least I can post the photos of KITT now that NBC had a press conference this morning... Here's the "attack mode".

And here is the "normal mode"...

We have about 6 different custom built KITT's and a few stock ones... They are all 2008 Shelby GT500KR's... The "attack mode" cars have Whipple superchargers from Ford Racing and are putting down somewhere in the range of 600hp + with 590ft/lbs of torque... They are the most powerful Mustangs ever built and Ford is only making 1000 of them for sale in the US...

We also have one "monster" that has these specs
an optional 725 horsepower system, 6-speed manual transmission with a Ford Racing short-throw shifter and 3.73:1 rear axle ratio, JBA manifold and back system for the 725 horsepower option

I drove the car the other day and it is "WICKED" fast...

For such an outa control car the body panels don't line up too well. Look at the hood and front fender relation... although it just could be the angle.

Still one cool ride!

Hood pins are too tight that's what is warping the hood (my opinion).

Sucky parts... the wheels morph too?... the stripes disappear? The extra wing comes out of thin air? WTF? Do they really believe that the audience now days is that stupid?
