Default Oil Filter - NAPA 7078

This morning, checked my source for the oil filter on the XFire. The ones I get from Fleet Filter have the non-woven pleats, not paper version. The website shows the filter for $10.39 today versus the retail price of $17.49. Here's the link:

WIX 57078 / NAPA 7078 Filter

You need to pay close attention to the NAPA 7078 filter. The ones I have used in the past show a Mann symbol on the filter along with made in Germany. Recent findings of that same filter now are made in China. Not sure if any difference in quality at this time.

So we need to filter the Mann from the Choy's?

Your point is a valid one. But I've been buying this NAPA Gold 7078 filter from that website for awhile now and have never had an issue with quality or installation.

And we all know that eBay & Amazon can be used to get some good buys. Especially on some of the routine parts we need for the XFire. I just like being able to go to a website specifically setup to sell filters of all kinds, where I know I can find what I want right off.

And that's all that matters.

The best deal I have ever found is finding some one to split a case (12 Mann) with you and purchase them from Rob when he runs a sale. James
