Engine, Exhaust, Transmission and DifferentialPost questions here that have to do with the engine, cooling system, air intake, exhaust, Transmission and Differential
I got a hold of some bad gas. It was the color of green Gatorade and had water in it. I disconnected the fuel line where it goes into the rail and used the relay to activate the pump. This actually went pretty quickly. I was averaging 23-26 mpg prior to the change, with the occasional stumble here and there. I wouldn't recommend anyone do this but I was curious as to how long the plugs would last.
Re: I finally changed my plugs after 203,000 miles.
The angle was a pain, so I used a combination of different swivels and a gimbal ratchet. A 24" 3/8 extension also helped prevent me from having to bend over. #6a was the biggest PITA because of the heat shield being so close. But they pretty much came right out. They were a little tight but not too bad.

What did you use to get the boots off? Did you use the recommended 17mm, dog leg MB spanner?
With our leads starting to get a bit old now I am reluctant to just pull them off by hand in case I damage them.
